Minimal system requirements

Your browser must have javascript enabled to be able to use Sofia. In general, we strongly advise to use the latest browser-version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari for Mac. However, here are a few minimal system requirements:

Sofia supports the following browsers:

• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Google Chrome
• Safari 15.x and higher

Sofia supports these browsers only on these operating systems:

• Windows 11
• Windows 10
• Windows 8.1
• MacOS 12 and higher

The browser version Sofia supports depends on the Sofia release date. When a new version of Sofia is released we support the latest current version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari for MacOS (these browsers usually automatically update whenever a newer available version is detected). Since Januari 1, 2019 Sofia does not support the browser Internet Explorer anymore.
